In yet another disturbing episode of GMA-7’s “Karelasyon”, a couple’s marriage was threatened after a certified daddy chaser tried break up their relationship and attempted to seduce the husband.
The episode started with a couple, portrayed by Francine Prieto and Gardo Versoza, throwing out one of the tenants from their boarding house because the latter allegedly stole something from them and did not pay her rent on time.
On the same day, a young woman named Maita (Roxanne Barcelo) saw the “Wanted: Bedspacer” outside the couple’s house. She went inside to inquire and talked to “ate” (Francine) in hope of being allowed to take up the bed space. Her application was immediately approved, and she moved into the boarding house shortly after.
However, things started to get weird when Maita tried to get close to her landlady’s husband, Jun (Gardo).
The new tenant found herself working out in the same gym as her landlord, where she befriended him. The two eventually became close, but Jun only thought of her as a friend. Maita, on the other hand, had an ulterior motive.
Jun, however, remained sweet and loyal to his wife. In fact, on their 25th anniversary, he surprised her with roses with the help of his tenants. Maita can be seen in the background, obviously jealous of what her landlord just did for his wife.
As it turns out, the bed spacer had just gotten out of a relationship with a married man, and she now had her eyes set on Jun. Labeled by the show’s host as a ‘daddy chaser,’ it was confirmed that Maita really does have a thing for older men.
One night, as Maita and the other tenants were drinking outside their boarding house, Jun went out to tell them that they might have had a little too much already. He sat beside the new bed spacer to ask her if she was okay, but the latter only tried to seduce him, forcibly kissing him.
