Talent searches like “Britain Got Talent” are great avenues to let even the simplest people shine and become a stars. Such was the case for Alice Fredenham, a nervous woman who joined the popular talent search to share her love for singing.
Standing on the spacious stage, the nervous woman fidgeted while being interviewed by the show’s judges. During the brief interview, Alice revealed that she works as a physical therapist for a living. Most contestants are often accompanied by their supportive family or friends. Alice went to the auditions alone because her loved ones did not know that she sings.
While being interviewed, the crowd and the judges’ interest grew as they got to know more about the nervous woman standing in front of them. Judging by her demeanor and her soft-spoken voice, nobody knew what she would bring to the BGT stage.
Finally, the time came for the shy woman to show the world what she’s got. The noise in the theater died down as they waited for Alice’s performance. Will she make it, or will she break it? The audience and the judges held their breath as they waited for Alice’s singing performance.

In the end, they were not disappointed when the Alice belted out “My Funny Valentine” by Ella Fitzgerald. Her shyness evaporated into thin air as she serenaded not only the show’s judges but the audience as well.
