The Danceport Duo comprised of dancers Julius Obero and Rhea Marquez got the judges on their feet after their emotional dance routine on “Pilipinas Got Talent”‘ Grand Finals last night.
Julius, who was born with polio, proved once again that physical disabilities cannot stop anyone from reaching their dreams, as he and his partner nailed a flawless performance that placed them as first runners-up for the competition.
The two was a favorite from the competition’s get-go after receiving a gold-buzzer during the auditions.
Their performance was over-flowing with grace and emotion as they danced to the song “Two Less Lonely People.” Their routine was filled with tricks that wowed everyone, especially judge Robin Padilla who was up on his feet screaming “wow” after Julius lifted Rhea past his head.

The two then ended their emotional performance with a bang with Rhea suspended in mid-air upside down and holding Julius up.
Their extraordinary performance received praise from the judges.
“Para sa akin, kung ang pagbabasehan nito ay ‘yung tinatawag na extraordinary talent, panalo na kayo,” Robin said.
Vice Ganda added, “Ang ganda! That was just lovely.”
The Dancesport’s aim now is to qualify and represent our country to the 2024 Paralympics in France.
