Seasoned actress Sheryl Cruz will return to the one and only comedy anthology in the country called “Dear Uge” from the Kapuso network. Hosted by actress and comedienne Eugene Domingo, the afternoon TV series airs every Sunday after the variety show “Sunday PinaSaya.”
The 44-year-old actress will portray the character of a woman named Sophie. The story will revolve around Sophie, who can’t pay the accumulated debts which were rooted deep in jealousy, insecurity, and resentment against her former husband named Nico, played by the actor Jay Manalo.

The self-imposed conflict of Sophie started when her former husband Nico came back into her life. Exercising his right as the biological father, Nico shared the parental custody bestowed upon him to become closer and closer to his children.
However, Sophie will do everything, for the sake of her mountain-high pride, to halt the growing love of their two children named Mitch and Andre, which are played by Lindsay de Vera and Ralph Noriega, away from Nico.

Despite being tagged as a comedy TV show, the relatable story of Sophie shows the polarizing tapestry of the unconditional and selfish love a single mother has for her children. Obviously, Sophie can’t be blamed for the behavior she showed.
In case you’re not aware, this is the third time for Sheryl Cruz in the comedy anthology. She already appeared in an episode called “Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Gluta,” wherein she played the character of Beth, and “Anak Ni Ex,” wherein she portrayed the role of Luz Reyes.
