This rustic house in rural Arizona looks plain and ordinary but there’s more to it than meets the eye. Priced at $200,000 (about PHP 10,000,000), this seemingly humble home holds a secret that makes the steep price worth it. The property features two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a viewing deck that overlooks the Arizona desert.
Some think that the best perk offered by this rustic home is that it’s two hours away from the Grand Canyon. However, an interesting secret is located underneath a small workshop just 20 yards away from the house.

It turns out that the modest property includes a 3,000 sq ft. underground cave that can be reached by going down a 15-foot well. A listing agent named Wendi Akins jokingly said that the huge, hidden cavern is home to plenty of salamanders, but with some effort, it can be inhabited by people as well.
Akins also shared that the cave has never been used by the previous owner despite discovering it after he bought the house.
“As far as we know, the cave was never used. This owner bought the home after it was foreclosed on and he found the cave after he purchased the property. This property is off-grid, on water-haul and a little far out on dirt roads, so it would take someone who likes to live out this far.”
“The home also has to be purchased for cash, as banks in this area will not loan on homes that are off-grid and on dirt roads. The cave is the icing on this cake, as the home and the views are spectacular in themselves.’
