Meet the 10 ‘StarStruck’ graduates who transferred to the Kapamilya Network

As we all know, network transfer is nothing new in the showbiz industry. As a matter of fact, this has been occurring every now and then. Even though it can be controversial at times. Most celebrities say it’s for their career growth, as well as a new opportunity.

Fair enough, here are the former Kapuso “StarStruck” graduates who decided to officially ink an exclusive contract to the Kapamilya Network.

1. Aljur Abrebnica

Last year, hunk actor Aljur Abrenica made an important decision regarding his showbiz career when he transferred to ABS CBN Network. 

Since then, he immediately secured a role in his first-ever Kapamilya TV showAsintado starring Julia Montes, Shaina Magdayao, and Paulo Avelino.

In case you’re unaware, he won the fourth season of “StarStruck.”

2. Paulo Avelino

Even though he lost against Aljur Abrenica, another hunk actor, Paulo Avelino, had a steadily prospering showbiz career on GMA Network. However, his popularity became bigger when he moved to the other TV network.

Throughout his seven-years being a Kapamilya, he has appeared in numerous television and movie projects, mostly in a leading man role.

3. Cristine Reyes

in 2008, Cristine Reyes moved to the Kapamilya Network. Upon her transfer, she was immediately cast as the main character in “Eva Fonda.” After her launch, other various television and movie roles followed.

She joined “StarStruck” season one.

4. Nadine Samonte

Nadine Samonte is a batch mate of Cristine Reyes in “StarStruck” season one. For a short period of time, she appeared in Maalaala Mo Kaya and Hawak Kamay.”

5. Paul Salas

in 2004, now grown up Paul Salas tried his luck in “StarStruck” Kiddie Edition. After transferring to ABS CBN Network, he experienced his first-ever breakthrough acting project and decided to stay.

6. Megan Young

Before she became the first ever Filipina to win the coveted crown of Miss World, Megan Young was Kapamilya actress.

Fast forward today, she’s a household name on GMA.

7. Arci Munoz

Arci Munoz first appeared as a Kapuso actress and decided to move to TV5 Network in 2010.

Finally, she became successful when she hopped to ABS CBN.

8. Jewel Mische

Dubbed the “Ultimate Sweetheart” during “StarStruck” season four, Jewel Mische stayed with her original TV network for four years.

In 2010, she transferred to the Kapamilya Network wherein she appeared in “Maria La Del Barrio‘ andParaiso.”

9. Enzo Pineda

Following his network transfer in 2016, Enzo Pineda landed a big role inPusong Ligaw and “Til I Met You.” 

He was a runner-up in “StarStruck” season five.

 

10. Sarah Lahbati

Despite being controversial during her stay in GMA, she managed to seal an exclusive contract with the Kapamilya Network.
