Matt Evans on working with Marian Rivera: “Para akong basang sisiw’

Matt Evans is still on cloud nine after his sudden transfer to the Kapuso network last year, August 2017.

In an interview with PEP, Matt admitted that he doesn’t have any regret on his decision.

Matt Evans stayed on the Kapamilya network for 11 years before he finally made the decision to transfer to GMA-7.

Moreover, amidst having the same manager with Marian Rivera, Matt Evans admitted that he felt ashamed during his first encounter with the “Kapuso Primetime Queen”.

Matt and Marian are both cast members of the Kapuso weekly comedy-variety show “Sunday PinaSaya.” He admitted that he is looking forward to more projects with the actress in the future.

“Sino naman po ba ang hindi? Oo naman po. Kahit driver!”

When asked about his reaction to the recent network transfers of other Kapamilya artists in the GMA network, Matt said:

“Ako, the more the merrier, siyempre!”

Presently, Matt is one of the guest stars of the Kapuso primetime series “The Cure.” He plays the role of Elmer, husband of Myra (Kris Bernal).

When asked about what role does he considers as the “most challenging” so far, Matt said:

Matt had his stint in the showbiz industry when he joined the first batch of “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition” in 2006. For a span of 100 days, Matt lived in the famous “Big Brother” house along with other housemates such as Kapamilya top-billed artists Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.
