Solenn Heussaff calls out Anne Curtis’s body-shamers

Solenn Heussaff did not mince words when she called out the netizens who body-shamed her sister-in-law, Anne Curtis.

Just recently, Solenn shared a group photo on Instagram which featured herself, her husband Nico Bolzico, her brother Erwann Heusaff, and Anne, bonding with her parents. The same photo led netizens to ask if Anne was pregnant, with a number of them claiming that she certainly looks like she packed on some weight.

In response, Anne posted another photo on Instagram, this time of her appreciating an egg tart.

“No, I’m not pregnant. It’s just the angle. And all the egg tarts that I ate.”

However, this did not stop fans from body-shaming Anne. A lot of them said she ought to lose some weight because she had become quite “chubby”. Some even added that she should go on a diet to shed off those unwanted pounds.

This prompted Solenn Heussaff to come to her sister-in-law’s defense. According to her, it is not nice nor proper for people to comment on other people’s weight.

The model also said that she noticed how titas in Philippine society always use their relatives’ weight gain to start a conversation, and for her, this practice should stop.

This is not the first time that fans noticed the changes in Anne’s body. In April of this year, the “It’s Showtime” host admitted that she, too, began to notice how her body looked different now because of running.

According to Anne, her legs are now more muscular, and it initially scared her because of what other people might say. However, she said she has now grown to embrace her new legs, and that she no longer feels insecure about them.
