The actor-dancer-host, Vhong Navarro, was emotional after receiving the news that Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo, and Jed Fernandez were found guilty of grave coercion charges that the actor filed against them involving the controversial incident last 2014. On January 22, 2014, Vhong was beaten up, tied down, and threaten by Cedric and Cornejo alongside their other company in a condominium unit in Taguig City.
The news about the court’s case was first released by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) after reaching out and doing an exclusive interview with Vhong’s legal counsel, Atty. Alma Mallonga.
After the news was release, entertainment correspondent, MJ Felipe, did a series of tweets regarding the news based on her phone interview with Vhong Navarro himself. Vhong is currently in U.S. together with his other “It’s Showtime” co-hosts for a show.
Vhong is happy that the court’s verdict favored him.

He expressed his gratitude towards those who prayed and supported him through out his journey of seeking justice for almost five years. He said that anyone can experience what he had gone through.
Vhong said.
He said that it hurts being accused of rape, and this is where the truth unfolds.

But according to Vhong, the fight is still not over. There are still two pending cases against Cedric’s group: serious illegal detention and prejury. Whatever the results of the remaining case would be, people hope that justice will serve its purpose.
