In an interview at” Magandang Buhay” on August 3, actress-turned-beauty queen Teresita “Winwyn” Marquez admitted that she and her siblings doesn’t want their father actor Joey Marquez to get married again. As for her, they don’t have a concrete reason for it. But for now, what’s more important is that their father would find someone who is willing to love and take care of him for the rest of his life.

Furthermore, Winwyn Marquez explained that their family’s previous experiences are already enough as reasons for their dad to avoid getting married again.
“Marriage naman sabi nga niya, minsan it’s only on paper. We are just happy na makita siyang masaya.”

However, the Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder said that if ever their father would really want to get married again then, they will not stop him from doing so.
“Basta kung saan siya masaya. For us, huwag na. Nandito naman kami. And he found naman a partner who will take care of him forever, I think that’s enough.”
Meanwhile, Joey Marquez agreed on everything that his daughter has said. As for him, he believes that “marriage is just a ceremony”, but what is important is the couple’s commitment to each other.
In the end, the veteran actor clarified that his children will always be his priority in life.
