Yesterday, one Facebook user shared a video of three traffic enforcers in Caloocan who were caught pinning down a civilian who was allegedly trespassing. As seen in the video, a flock of uniformed officials tried to hold off the unnamed man along Rizal Avenue.
The post read, “Ayon sa ulat, napadaan lang po siya ngunit biglang sinita na bawal daw, ‘NO TRESSPASSING‘ sa parting yun. Sabi niya di niya alam , bigla daw siyang sinugod ng tatlong tigasing enforcer.”

Due to the busy traffic, the scuffle went on and only ended when concerned motorists separated both parties. While some bystanders were also alarmed by the incident. Most of them tried to pacify the situation by pleading with the traffic enforcers to stop. Furthermore, they also encouraged a civilian to list down the enforcers names and submit a blotter at the nearest barangay hall.
Regardless whether the civilian did commit a violation, most netizens deemed that the enforcers’ actions were unacceptable.
“Pero sana maximum tolerance ginamit nila, bawal po ang mangbugbog ng tao, di po tama yan. Siguro may multa yan o kaya’y pwedeng makulong, ‘yun dapat ginawa ng mga salbahing enforcer.”
